NARLIN SMITH, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Hello and welcome! I am a Master's level dual board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have over 20 years experience in healthcare, with over 10 years in psychiatry.
I have experience with teens, veterans, adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, TBI, severe and persistent mental illness, pregnant women, teens, transient/low income populations, Indian Health Services, Geriatrics, trauma, and LGBTQIA2S+ patients.

I believe in the importance of considering the mind/body connection when treating mental illness. I welcome all adults from every walk of life, and understand that we all deserve to be heard and treated with dignity and respect. My style is relaxed, personable, direct and supportive. I specialize in treating adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, veterans/first responders as well as the general population.

I like to create a warm, comforting environment where you feel validated and your concerns are discussed. I believe in a team approach. I love to educate and empower so that you can make informed decisions about your care, and understand the reasoning behind my recommendations. I also enjoy getting to know about those I treat, and how life may be impacting your health. I want every client to feel supported and on the path to wellness!

Dr. TaTreka Middleton,
DNP, MPH, APRN, PMHNP-BC
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Public Health Degree. I have worked in psychiatry since 2015 as a registered nurse, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and have served individuals ranging from 5 years old to geriatric adults. I am now excited to continue that work as a Nurse Practitioner!
My passions include expanding access to quality mental health care across the lifespan and assisting patients with navigating their mental health and trauma-related concerns. I strongly believe in a team-based approach that values collaboration with our psychiatrist, education, and partnership in treatment. I bring a strong commitment to helping patients better understand their mental health, feel confident in their care, and actively participate in their healing journey.
Mental health has always been an essential part of health care, which is why I am dedicated to helping others optimize their ability to function and enjoy their lives. My focus is on the treatment of mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management, and brief psychotherapeutic intervention. My background in public health allows me to blend clinical care with community outreach, prevention, and advocacy, aligning my professional work with my personal passions.
